This was fun--your worlds in both challenges have been vibrant and compelling. This was dramatic and intense, and all in such a simple-feeling premise. Great story! I am late to getting to review--sorry--but this story has been officially received! Official comments are forthcoming!

Nice! I really felt for Christopher! You have such a interesting world here and I wonder where he's going from here.

This is such a fascinating world! You did an amazing job of working in the worldbuilding in a natural way, and I was genuinely stressed about what would happen to Christopher!

Just like the last challenge, your story has such a compelling backstory going on. In a colony where a teenager's future gets decided by the Trial, Catholicism lives on? I would read more to find out what happened with the world.

Aww, the ending was wholesome. I felt bad for the character constantly conflicted and the pain he felt after loosing that key. This was indeed charming. Thank you for sharing, after laughing hard at Hyun Woo's piece, this delightfully sobered me up.
